德州农业厅幕僚长史密斯再访国际贸易中心


农產品大使 Tony Noun 随行考察 共同推动德州农產品走向世界

【休士顿讯】德州农业厅幕僚长 Todd Smith(史密斯)於今日再次率团访问休士顿国际贸易中心(Houston International Trade Center),深入了解国际贸易中心在促进国际商务合作、农產品推广及全球市场拓展方面的成果。此次同行来访的重要成员还包括德州农业厅 GO TEXAN 农產品推广大使 Tony Noun。Tony Noun 目前担任 GO TEXAN Ambassador(德州优质农產品推广大使),积极协助德州农產品品牌推广与国际市场拓展工作。 

访问期间,代表团与美南新闻集团董事长 Wea Lee 及国际贸易中心团队举行会谈,就德州农业產品国际行销、全球供应链合作、国际商会交流及未来贸易代表团互访等议题交换意见。

Todd Smith表示,休士顿是德州面向世界的重要门户,而国际贸易中心则是连结全球市场的重要平台。德州农业厅希望透过更多合作,协助德州农產品进一步开拓亚洲、中东、非洲及全球市场。

Tony Noun则分享了自己多年从事国际商务与市场推广的经验。他表示,GO TEXAN计画正积极协助德州农產品建立全球品牌形象,希望透过国际贸易中心的平台,让更多国家了解德州优质农產品的竞争力与市场潜力。 

李蔚华董事长对代表团再次蒞临表示热烈欢迎。他指出,美南新闻集团及国际贸易中心多年来与德州农业厅保持密切合作,未来将进一步整合媒体、金融、教育、商会及国际外交资源,协助德州农產品进入更广阔的全球市场。

双方并讨论未来在国际农產品展示中心、GO TEXAN產品展览、世界各国商会合作平台以及全球菁英资源共享俱乐部(Global Elite Resource Alliance)等项目的合作可能性,希望共同打造休士顿成為德州农业產品面向世界的重要窗口。

此次访问不仅彰显德州农业厅对国际贸易中心的高度重视,也进一步巩固双方长期合作伙伴关係,為德州农业、国际贸易及全球经济合作开创更多机会。

GO TEXAN Ambassador Tony Noun Joins Delegation to Promote Texas Agricultural Products Worldwide

HOUSTON, TEXAS — Todd Smith, Chief of Staff of the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA), paid a return visit to the Houston International Trade Center (HITC) today to further strengthen cooperation in international trade, agricultural promotion, and global market development. Accompanying him was Tony Noun, GO TEXAN Ambassador, a prominent advocate for Texas agricultural products and international business development.

During the visit, the delegation met with Wea Lee, Chairman of Southern News Group and Houston International Trade Center, along with community and business leaders, to discuss opportunities for expanding the global reach of Texas agricultural products through strategic partnerships and international trade initiatives.

Todd Smith emphasized the importance of Houston as a gateway to global commerce and highlighted the role of the Houston International Trade Center in connecting Texas businesses with international markets.

“Texas agriculture is one of the strongest drivers of our state’s economy. Through partnerships like this, we can help Texas producers reach new customers around the world while strengthening international trade relationships,” Smith said.

Tony Noun shared his vision for expanding the GO TEXAN program internationally and promoting Texas products to emerging markets in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, and Latin America.

“Texas produces some of the finest agricultural products in the world. By working with organizations such as the Houston International Trade Center and Southern News Group, we can introduce these products to new global markets and create valuable opportunities for Texas businesses,” Noun stated.

Wea Lee welcomed the delegation and expressed appreciation for the ongoing partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture.

“The Houston International Trade Center is committed to serving as a bridge between Texas and the world. Together with the Texas Department of Agriculture, we look forward to promoting Texas products internationally and creating new economic opportunities for our communities,” Lee said.

The meeting also explored future collaboration in areas including:

● GO TEXAN international product exhibitions

● Global agricultural trade missions

● International chamber of commerce partnerships

● Agricultural product showcase centers

● Cross-border business networking programs

● Global Elite Resource Alliance initiatives

The visit reaffirmed the strong relationship between the Texas Department of Agriculture and the Houston International Trade Center and underscored their shared commitment to expanding Texas agriculture’s presence in the global marketplace.
